Box Office Manager
We’re looking for 2 experienced box office managers based in Manchester for Dinosaurs in the Wild, a brand new exciting family adventure that has successfully launched in Birmingham in June this year and that will move to Event City in Manchester at the end of September.
This is a temporary position with start date on 25th September 2017 and finish date on 5th January 2018. The onsite box office requires to be covered 7 days a week and therefore we’re looking at 2 managers to work on a rota.
The main duties would be to:
• manage the day to day admin of the box office,
• supervise the box office staff
• overlook the daily sales
• provide prompt and accurate reporting
• cash reconciliation
• process internal bookings and guest tickets
• look after the customer services enquiries
• supervise the scanning process and to liaise with the FOH team to ensure smooth admission operations
Applicants must have a strong knowledge of box office operations (including confident with ticketing systems and procedures), high standards of customer services and ideally would be very organised, with good attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
